Decolonizer. 2021.
Decolonizer explores the dark and complicated history of the landscape, the chaos of nature, and the tensions between different communities. As a symbolist and conceptual assemblage, the coyote skull rests over a map of Colorado, which is glued to the back of a rabbit pelt, to embody the layers of history in a collection of tangible objects.
